Hello there,

My name is Luke Engell.  I created this site to share information about anything music related, so if you have questions feel free to ask.

So a little about me, why I am qualified to answer your questions? In 2000 I started taking banjo lessons and a couple years later my family started a bluegrass/gospel band, playing at nursing homes, fairs and bluegrass festivals. I also took up guitar around 2002 and also enjoy playing the upright bass.

Our band has gone on tour to Arizona six times for about two months at a time playing at RV parks, Churches, bluegrass festivals, and performing arts theater. I started teaching banjo and guitar in early 2010 and plan to continue learning and developing my teaching ability so that I can teach others efficiently and effectively.
